Role: DevOps Engineer (Azure / Cloud) Location: Chennai (Onsite) Experience: 3?6 years Joining: Immediate About the Role This position sits at the center of uptime, deployments, cloud management, email infrastructure, and environment stability. You?ll be the engineer who makes sure staging and production behave like mature adults ? predictable, secure, stable, and always available for the teams who rely on them. It?s a hands-on, full-stack DevOps role built for someone who wants real ownership. What You?ll Handle ? Monitor uptime, speed, and performance across client websites ? Perform malware checks, patching, and security hardening ? Respond to alerts quickly and prevent downtime ? Manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps with Jenkins ? Build and deploy Dockerized applications ? Manage Git repos, branching strategies, and release workflows ? Own staging and production environments end-to-end: ? Environment setup, configuration, and isolation ? Safe deployment practices ? Rollbacks, hotfixes, and release coordination ? Ensuring staging mirrors production for reliable testing ? Manage Azure infrastructure ? DNS, storage, firewalls ? Oversee cPanel hosting, backups, migrations, and troubleshooting ? Set up and maintain SMTP, email routing, and transactional email systems ? Handle email domain setup, user provisioning, MX/SPF/DKIM/DMARC configs ? Automate repetitive tasks with Bash or PowerShell ? Use New Relic for performance monitoring and alerting ? Coordinate with development and PM teams for structured, safe releases ? Handle cloud cost optimization, budgeting, and monitoring ? Investigate production incidents using logs, metrics, and root-cause analysis Skills Needed ? Azure DevOps / Jenkins CI/CD experience ? Docker and containerization expertise ? Strong understanding of staging?production pipelines and environment management ? Cloud networking and server administration (Azure preferred) ? Hands-on experience with cPanel ? Deep knowledge of email domain management, SMTP, and DNS records ? Strong scripting skills ? Bash or PowerShell ? Experience with New Relic (APM, logs, alerts, dashboards) ? Git proficiency ? repos, branches, merge flows, deployment triggers ? Solid troubleshooting skills across infra, email, app, and network layers ? Understanding of cloud cost governance and optimization strategies ? Exposure to website security and malware scanning Bonus Points ? Azure certifications ? Kubernetes / AKS exposure ?
