Azure Cloud Developer - Full remote - contractor in USD

Job Description

For an international project in Chennai, we are urgently looking for a Full Remote Azure Cloud Developer. We are looking for a motivated contractor. Candidates need to be fluent in English. Tasks and responsibilities: Develop on Azure Cloud Technology stack; Understand the existing systems landscape in detail and design and develop an application on Azure cloud; Leverage cloud-based architectures that will enable it to consolidate discrete data solutions into a secure cloud landscape that provides scalability, resiliency, and best-in-class data science toolkits/ services; Identify the various technology components (front to back) needed to deliver a robust, secure, scalable, and high availability solution; Establish a data and reporting strategy that utilizes industry set of practices, tools, and frameworks to deliver information consistently and efficiently to our clients, through this custom-built application; Deploy, schedule and monitor pipelines using Azure Data Factory; Identify optimal data ingestion methods and develop batch processing solutions using Azure Data Factory; Design, Develop, Migration, Integration and configuring an Azure infrastructure; Determining workloads requirements and running them securely on Azure cloud; Implement Azure authentication and securing data on the cloud; Design a business continuity strategy; Interface with the business client to understand business needs and requirements, and to help develop and maintain the client relationship on a need basis; Interface with the various IT teams in WBG to ensure that the reporting application meets all the requirements of the bank and stakeholders from multiple perspectives, including (but not limited to) Security, Redundancy, Storage, Performance, Mobile Readiness, etc; Profile: Bachelor or Master degree; +5 years of relevant experience; Experience working with Azure Services like Azure Data Factory, Logic App, Functions, Azure SQL DB, Blob Storage, Azure DevOps; Experience working with other Azure Services like Azure Database Migration Service, ADLS Gen2, Synapse Analytics is an added advantage; Experience creating Azure Data Factory pipelines leveraging Data Movement activities, Data Transformation activities like Data Flow, Stored Procedure, Custom Activity, Azure Functions etc. and Control Flow Activities like web activity, lookup activity etc; Experience working with RDBMS preferably Azure SQL, Microsoft SQL Server; Proficient in SQL, Transact-SQL and experience in developing Stored procedures; Experience in any programming language, preferably C#, Python; Expert level knowledge and usage of Azure Web Apps, Application Insights and Azure Active Directory; Must have expert level knowledge of Key Vault for application security for data in transit and rest; Implementing Azure authentication and securing data on the cloud using Key Vaults and Azure AD; Good knowledge of Agile, DevOps delivery methodologies; Advanced understanding of data integration, data virtualization, data federation, and database design techniques; Advanced knowledge of dimensional modeling, modeling for reporting applications, normalization techniques, forward-engineering, and reverse-engineering techniques; Fluent in English;
