Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Support Engineer / Azure Administrator with 3–5 years of experience to provide operational support for Microsoft Azure environments. The ideal candidate should have strong Azure administration knowledge, excellent troubleshooting capabilities, and experience handling incidents in a 24x7 support environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Azure quota, capacity management, and resolve allocation failures.
  • Handle Azure administration and support activities across cloud environments.
  • Perform incident management activities while ensuring adherence to defined SLAs.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues with proper Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
  • Create and manage service requests based on customer emails and Microsoft Teams conversations.
  • Handle high-severity incidents with timely escalations and effective communication.
  • Monitor operational performance and ensure service availability.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge articles.
  • Work independently as an Individual Contributor while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Generate reports using Excel and Power BI with strong data analysis and data grooming skills.
  • Support basic automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
  • Continuously learn and adopt new Azure technologies and operational practices.
  • Be flexible to work in a 24x7 rotational support environment.

Required Skills

  • 3–5 years of experience in Azure Administration or Technical/Customer Support.
  • Strong understanding of Azure quota management, subscription management, and capacity management.
  • Basic knowledge of Kusto Query Language (KQL), SQL, and PowerShell.
  • Experience in Incident Management and operational support.
  • Knowledge of documentation, troubleshooting, problem resolution, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI for reporting and analysis.
  • Basic automation knowledge.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Process-oriented mindset with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Good to Have

  • Microsoft Azure Certification.
  • Understanding of Azure quota and subscription management.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Kusto, SQL, PowerShell, and Power BI.
  • Exposure to Azure operational monitoring and cloud support best practices.
