AWS Solution Architect
Tredence Inc.
Job Description
Full Stack AWS Architect – Cloud-Native Microservices
Experience Required: 10–15 Years
Location : Bangalore / Chennai / Hyderabad / Pune / Gurgaon / Kolkata
Role Overview
We are looking for a Full Stack AWS Architect with deep expertise in cloud-native microservices architecture and end-to-end AWS solution design. The candidate must have proven experience architecting, building, and delivering distributed systems on AWS using Infrastructure as Code, with strong command over containerization, API security, full stack development, observability, and team leadership. The ideal candidate can own the full technical lifecycle — from solution architecture and AWS design to frontend delivery and production operations — and can drive engineering standards across a cross-functional agile team.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own end-to-end solution architecture for cloud-native applications on AWS
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Node.js REST microservices using NestJS frameworks
- Architect and implement cloud-native microservices following 12-factor app and distributed systems principles
- Build, tag, and push Docker images to Amazon ECR and manage container deployments via Amazon ECS (Fargate / EC2 launch type) and/or Amazon EKS
- Create and manage AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / AWS CDK) — console-only resource creation is not sufficient
- Deploy and operate services on AWS (EKS, ECS, ECR, EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, SQS, SNS, CloudFront)
- Implement AWS security and identity best practices including IAM, IRSA, JWT, and Cognito
- Configure and manage API Gateway, ALB, and Ingress Controllers for scalable and secure API management
- Design event-driven microservices using SQS, SNS, Kafka, or EventBridge for reliable async communication
- Deliver frontend solutions using React.js with integration to backend microservices and AWS services
- Serve static assets via Amazon S3 and CloudFront CDN for optimized global content delivery
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline — including ECR image push and ECS/EKS deployment automation
- Write and maintain unit, integration, and API tests using Jest, Supertest, and Playwright
- Set up and maintain observability — CloudWatch dashboards, structured logging, distributed tracing, and alerting
- Author architecture documentation, conduct design reviews, and mentor junior engineers
- Use AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude) effectively while ensuring code quality, security, and adherence to project standards
- Analyze and optimize application performance across frontend, backend, APIs, databases, containers, and cloud infrastructure
- Optimize Node.js/NestJS microservices for latency, throughput, memory utilization, and CPU efficiency
- Tune React.js applications for improved page load times, rendering performance, caching, and Core Web Vitals
- Design and implement caching strategies using CloudFront, Redis/ElastiCache, CDN caching, and application-level caching
Good to Have
- AWS Solutions Architect certification (Associate or Professional)
- Experience with Kafka or EventBridge for event-driven workflows
- Knowledge of service mesh (Istio / Linkerd)
- Experience with OpenTelemetry, Dynatrace, or Splunk
- Familiarity with TypeScript and monorepo setups
- Experience with GraphQL APIs
