Role Description

This is a temporary, on-site role for an AWS Security and Penetration Testing Specialist located in Kolkata. The specialist will be responsible for identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities across AWS infrastructure, conducting penetration tests, and developing security protocols. Day-to-day tasks will include monitoring threats, ensuring compliance with security standards, and collaborating with the IT team to enhance system resilience. The ideal candidate will help safeguard sensitive data and uphold the security posture of the organization.

Qualifications

Expertise in AWS Security, IAM (Identity and Access Management), and Cloud Security best practices
Hands-on experience conducting Penetration Testing, Vulnerability Assessments, and Threat Analysis
Proficiency in Security Tools and Scripts, including but not limited to Burp Suite, Metasploit, and Nessus
Strong understanding of Network Security, Firewalls, and Security Policy development
Ability to evaluate, identify, and resolve security threats promptly
Knowledge of compliance standards and frameworks such as SOC 2, GDPR, or ISO 27001
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty, CEH, or CISSP are a plus
