Job Description

Help design, build and continuously improve the clients online platform.
Research, suggest and implement new technology solutions following best practices/standards.
Take responsibility for the resiliency and availability of different products.

Requirements

6+ years of experience in Data Engineering, with a strong focus on cloud-based data warehouse environments
Strong expertise in Apache Airflow and AWS Glue
Proven hands-on experience with AWS Redshift, including: Redshift internals, Workload Management (WLM), Distribution and sort keys, Query execution plan analysis, Performance tuning and optimization techniques
Hands-on experience with dbt for data transformation, modeling, and pipeline development
Strong SQL programming skills with deep expertise in Redshift query performance optimization
Solid understanding of data modeling concepts, including: Dimensional modeling (Kimball methodology), Normalized data models, Hybrid modeling strategies
Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting tools such as AWS CloudWatch and Redshift Console
Familiarity with data version control, CI/CD pipelines, and collaborative development best practices using dbt
