About The Opportunity

Opportunity in the IT Services & Cloud Infrastructure sector — focused on managed cloud operations, systems reliability, and platform engineering for enterprise workloads. This is an on-site role based in India supporting production AWS environments, infrastructure automation, and Linux systems administration.

Primary title (best-performing on LinkedIn): AWS Cloud Engineer

Role & Responsibilities

Design, deploy and operate secure, highly available AWS infrastructure (VPC, EC2, S3, RDS, ELB, Route 53) across environments using Infrastructure-as-Code.
Author and maintain IaC templates and modules with Terraform and CloudFormation; review and improve CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployments.
Perform Linux systems administration including patching, user and process management, capacity planning, backup and recovery, and performance tuning.
Automate operational tasks and incident remediation using Bash and Python scripts plus configuration management with Ansible.
Implement monitoring, alerting and observability (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana); create runbooks and lead incident troubleshooting to restore service quickly.
Enforce security best practices: IAM policy design, security groups, encryption, vulnerability remediation and compliance checks.
