AWS CDK & Python Developer - Cloud Infrastructure

Position : AWS CDK + Python Developer (Contract Role) Experience Required : 5 Years Joining : Immediate Work Mode : Full-time (8 hours/day) with at least 4 hours overlapping PST timezone Job Summary We are hiring a seasoned Senior DevOps Engineer with expertise in AWS CDK and Python for a contract role. The position involves architecting and automating cloud infrastructure with an emphasis on modularity, security, and scalability. You will be instrumental in managing cloud resources using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and collaborating with cross-functional DevOps teams. Key Requirements DevOps Experience : Minimum 4 years AWS DevOps : 2 years of hands-on experience Python Programming : 2 years of professional use AWS CLI : At least 2 years of experience CI/CD Exposure : Minimum 1 year AWS Ecosystem : 3+ years Technical Skillset Advanced knowledge of AWS CDK (Python SDK) for infrastructure as code Strong Python 3.x programming background (OOP, scripting) Experience with Boto3 for AWS service integration beyond CDK Familiarity with pip, virtualenv, and venv for managing Python environments Competence in running CDK CLI commands : cdk synth, cdk deploy, etc. Writing unit and integration tests using pytest Code quality assurance using flake8 or similar linters Experience in resolving CloudFormation deployment issues Effective communicator with strong documentation skills Role Responsibilities Architect, write, and maintain AWS infrastructure using CDK with Python Build reusable CDK components using Python classes and best practices Automate tasks and service configurations leveraging Boto3 SDK Handle environment management and dependency tracking for Python projects Deploy infrastructure using CDK CLI and handle version-controlled stacks Implement automated testing for infrastructure code Perform troubleshooting in coordination with DevOps for deployment or runtime issues Document code, modules, and automation processes for team-wide visibility and scale If you're passionate about DevOps and cloud automation using modern tools, and you have the availability to overlap with PST timings, we want to hear from you!
