Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled AWS Engineer with mandatory hands-on experience in Amazon AppStream 2.0 to design, build, and support secure, scalable cloud environments. This role requires strong AWS core services knowledge along with deep expertise in AppStream architecture, image management, user access integration, and performance optimization.

The ideal candidate will work closely with application, security, and infrastructure teams to deliver reliable application streaming solutions while managing broader AWS cloud infrastructure.

Mandatory Skill Requirement

Hands-on production experience with Amazon AppStream 2.0 is a must

Key Responsibilities

Amazon AppStream 2.0 (Must Have)

Design, deploy, and manage Amazon AppStream 2.0 Fleets, Stacks, and Image Builders
Create, maintain, and optimize gold images for Windows-based applications
Configure scaling policies (On-Demand / Always-On fleets) to balance performance and cost
Integrate AppStream with Active Directory (Managed AD / AD Connector), SAML, or AWS IAM Identity Center (SSO)
Implement user profile persistence using S3 home folders, FSx, or EFS as required
- Troubleshoot session issues, performance bottlenecks, application compatibility, and connectivity problems
- Configure network access for AppStream using VPC, subnets, routing, and security groups
- Monitor AppStream environments using CloudWatch metrics, logs, and alarms
- Ensure security best practices including encryption, IAM roles, and least-privilege access

Core AWS Engineering Responsibilities

Design and manage AWS infrastructure using services such as:

EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, ELB (ALB/NLB), Auto Scaling
Route 53, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, AWS Backup

Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
Automate provisioning, patching, and configuration using AWS Systems Manager
Manage networking components including:

VPC design, subnetting, route tables
Security Groups, NACLs
VPN / Direct Connect (basic understanding)

Apply AWS security best practices using IAM, KMS, encryption, and security policies
Perform cost optimization using AWS Cost Explorer, Budgets, and right-sizing techniques
Provide L2/L3 support, incident troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and runbooks
