Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement comprehensive test strategies for systems incorporating predictive or adaptive logic.
Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and tools to support continuous integration and delivery.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and data specialists to embed quality from ideation through deployment.
Conduct exploratory testing and risk analysis for complex, data-intensive systems.
Monitor and report on quality metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
Advocate for best practices in software quality engineering, including test-driven development, shift-left testing, and validation of non-deterministic behaviours.
Stay current with emerging technologies and testing approaches, especially those relevant to intelligent or learning-based systems.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field—or equivalent experience.
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience as an engineer.
Proven experience in software quality engineering, particularly with systems that evolve based on data or user interaction.
Strong understanding of model validation, data integrity, and performance benchmarking.
Proficiency in test automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
Familiarity with testing frameworks and libraries used in data-driven or statistical computing environments.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.
Ability to analyse complex systems and identify potential failure points or unintended behaviours.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive and detail-oriented mindset.
