About The Opportunity

Operating in the IT services and software engineering sector, this role sits within teams that build and maintain enterprise web and mobile applications for global customers. We are hiring an Automation Test Engineer focused on Selenium-based automation to strengthen validation, release velocity, and product quality across complex product modules.

Role & Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with a focus on reliability and reusability.
Create and run automated test suites for web applications and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins) for nightly and pre-release validation.
Implement API automation for backend validation (REST) and combine UI and API checks to ensure end-to-end coverage.
Collaborate with developers, product owners, and manual QA to define test cases, acceptance criteria, and triage defects effectively.
Enhance and maintain test frameworks—introduce data-driven, keyword-driven, or BDD patterns as needed to improve test coverage.
Analyze test results, produce actionable reports, and drive improvements in flakiness, coverage, and performance of test suites.

Qualifications

3+ years of hands-on experience in automation testing for web applications (automation-first mindset).

Willingness and ability to work on-site in India; strong debugging and problem-solving aptitude.
