Automation Tester (Selenium)

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks

Execute functional, regression, integration, smoke, and end-to-end testing

Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or RestAssured

Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with developers for resolution

Participate in requirement analysis, sprint planning, and test strategy discussions

Maintain and improve test automation pipelines within CI/CD environments

Create and manage test data, test cases, and testing documentation

Ensure software quality standards and best testing practices are followed

Support manual testing activities when necessary

Provide regular test execution reports and defect tracking updates

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

Experience in automation testing using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar tools

Proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#

Experience with automation frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, NUnit, or Cucumber

Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies

Experience in API testing and validation

Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions

Knowledge of Git version control systems

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Good communication and collaboration abilities
