Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Automation Test Lead to join our Digital Assurance team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end test automation efforts for web, mobile, and API applications, ensuring high-quality software delivery across digital platforms. This role requires strong leadership, hands-on automation expertise, and the ability to work closely with development, business, and QA teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the automation testing team and manage daily testing activities.
• Design and implement robust automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, and Rest Assured.
• Define test strategies, test plans, and automation roadmaps.
• Review test cases, automation scripts, and execution reports.
• Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
• Analyze test metrics and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance.
• 4+ years of experience leading automation testing teams.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Selenium WebDriver / Cypress / Playwright
• Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript
• API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or similar tools
• Mobile automation using Appium (preferred)
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
• Proficiency in Git and version control systems.
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or ALM.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Digital Assurance, eCommerce, Banking, Healthcare, or Insurance domains.
• Exposure to performance testing tools such as JMeter.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• ISTQB or equivalent certification is a plus.
