About The Opportunity

A role within the IT Services & Enterprise Software development sector, supporting delivery of scalable web and mobile applications for global customers. This on-site position (India) focuses on building and running robust automation frameworks that accelerate release velocity and ensure production quality across feature releases.

Role & Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable automation frameworks and reusable test libraries for web and API test automation.
• Author, execute and validate automated test scripts using Selenium (and/or relevant tools) to cover functional, regression and integration scenarios.
• Develop and execute REST API test suites and validate backend data flows; log, track and verify defects with clear reproduction steps.
• Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins) to enable automated builds, scheduled runs and reporting for each release cycle.
• Work closely with developers and product owners to review acceptance criteria, define test strategy and ensure quality gates are met prior to production deployment.
• Analyse test results, provide actionable test reports, and continuously improve test coverage and automation reliability.
  
  

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for web UI automation.
• Proficient in Java (or Python) for writing automation scripts and framework code.
• Experience with test frameworks such as TestNG or JUnit.
• Strong experience in REST API testing and tools like Postman or equivalent.
• Familiarity with CI/CD integration (Jenkins) and source control (Git).
• Ability to write SQL queries and validate data in relational databases.
  
  

Preferred

• Exposure to Cucumber / BDD-style automation.
• Experience with mobile automation using Appium.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter) or test automation in containerized environments.
