Automation Test Engineer

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer to develop and execute automated tests to ensure product quality. As an Automation Test Engineer, you will play a critical role in building test frameworks, creating robust test scripts, and improving the efficiency of our QA processes.

Key Responsibilities:

•           Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or equivalent.

•           Build and maintain test automation frameworks for UI, API, and performance testing.

•           Work closely with developers and product managers to understand requirements and translate them into test plans.

•           Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.

•           Identify, document, and track bugs to closure.

•           Perform root cause analysis of test failures and provide corrective solutions.

•           Contribute to QA process improvements and standardization efforts.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Automation Testing.
• Strong domain knowledge in Blockchain and AdTech.
• Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, or equivalent.
• Solid coding/scripting skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar programming languages.
• Good understanding of RESTful APIs and experience using API testing tools like Postman or REST Assured.
• Experience working with version control systems such as Git.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test reporting frameworks.
• Thorough understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, and test case design principles.

Preferred Qualifications:

•           Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

•           Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber or SpecFlow.

•           Exposure to performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling) is a plus.

•           ISTQB or other QA certifications (preferred but not mandatory).

•           Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
