Senior Quality Engineer (QA III)

Locations: Cincinnati, OH (preferred) | Charlotte, NC | Tampa, FL

Work Model: Hybrid (up to 40 hours/month remote)


About the Role

We’re hiring a Senior Quality Engineer (QA III) to join a collaborative and fast-moving engineering team focused on delivering high-quality applications across UI, API, and backend systems. This is a hands-on automation role for someone who enjoys building frameworks, working across the stack, and partnering closely with engineering teams.


What You’ll Do

  • Design and execute automated test strategies across UI, API, and backend systems
  • Build and maintain test automation frameworks
  • Validate system behavior and data integrity using advanced SQL queries
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure high-quality releases
  • Identify defects, troubleshoot issues, and drive resolution
  • Continuously improve QA processes and test coverage


Required Experience

  • 3–5+ years in QA / Quality Engineering
  • Experience building or contributing to automation frameworks
  • Proficiency in C#, Java, or similar
  • Strong SQL skills (complex queries, joins, validation)
  • Experience with API testing


Preferred Experience

  • Playwright (TypeScript) for UI automation
  • RestSharp (C#) for API automation
  • Experience working in Agile environments

Schedule & Environment

  • Monday–Friday, flexible start time between 7–9 AM
  • Core collaboration hours between 7 AM – 6 PM
  • Hybrid model (approx. 1 day/week remote)

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $90,000 – $105,000
  • Bonus: 7.5% target (historically ~110% payout)
  • 401(k): 3% match
  • PTO: 30 days total
