Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Selenium Automation Quality Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 4-8 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks and test scripts using Selenium. You will work closely with the development and QA teams to ensure high-quality deliverables and contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain robust, scalable, and reusable automation test frameworks using Selenium (WebDriver).
• Design and execute automated test scripts for web applications, APIs, and mobile platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, and QA) to understand requirements, define test strategies, and ensure comprehensive coverage.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing using automation tools.
• Analyze test results, track defects, and ensure their resolution.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
• Identify and implement best practices for test automation to improve efficiency and quality.
• Generate detailed test reports and provide regular updates on testing progress and results.
• Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in test automation and recommend improvements.
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4-8 years of hands-on experience in Selenium WebDriver for test automation.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# for developing automation scripts.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.), SDLC, and STLC.
• Experience with automation frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, or Cucumber.
• Knowledge of build tools like Maven or Gradle.
• Hands-on experience with version control tools like Git.
• Experience in API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience in mobile automation using tools like Appium.
• Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms like BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, etc.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.
• ISTQB or similar testing certification is an advantage.
