Role Description The Audit Assistant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ludhiana. The Audit Assistant will support audits of client accounts, assist in reviewing financial statements, and help prepare working papers and audit reports in line with applicable standards. Day-to-day tasks include collecting and analyzing financial data, verifying documentation, performing basic internal control checks, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and firm procedures. The role involves coordinating with senior auditors and client representatives, maintaining organized records, and contributing to timely completion of audit assignments.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with Financial Statements and support the preparation and review process.
• Experience assisting with Financial Audits and contributing to Audit Reports.
• Strong Analytical Skills and a solid understanding of basic Finance concepts.
• Relevant academic background in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and accounting software tools.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative working style.
• Interest in pursuing professional qualifications (e.g., CA/CPA or equivalent) is an advantage.
