Job Title: Audio Visual (AV) Unreal Engine - Engineer.

Department: R&D – Immersive Technologies.

Location: Vapi, Gujarat

Reports To: Sr. Manager – Immersive Technologies


Job Purpose:

To design, deploy, and support professional Audio Visual (AV) systems integrated with Unreal Engine-based immersive visualization platforms. The role involves configuring multi-display environments, projection systems, LED walls, media servers, and Unreal Engine nDisplay clusters for real-time visualization, simulation, digital twin, XR, and virtual production applications. The engineer will collaborate with graphics programmers, Unreal Engine developers, and hardware teams to ensure synchronized, high-performance rendering across complex display infrastructures while delivering reliable, production-grade AV deployments.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Professional Audio Visual System Design & Deployment

• Design, configure, install, and commission professional AV systems for immersive visualization environments.

• Deploy and integrate:

  • High-resolution projectors
  • LED video walls
  • Curved and cylindrical displays
  • Multi-display visualization systems
  • Immersive dome environments

• Configure professional AV equipment including:

  • Media servers
  • Video processors
  • Matrix switchers
  • Signal routing hardware
  • Display controllers

• Perform system commissioning, testing, calibration, and preventive maintenance.

• Ensure optimal image quality, color consistency, brightness uniformity, and display alignment.


2. Unreal Engine nDisplay Deployment

• Configure and deploy Unreal Engine nDisplay clusters for synchronized rendering.

• Build and maintain:

  • Cluster configurations
  • Display topology
  • Render node configurations
  • Multi-machine rendering environments

• Configure and manage Unreal Engine Switchboard.

• Support synchronized rendering across multiple GPUs, displays, and rendering nodes.

• Optimize rendering performance while maintaining low latency.

• Troubleshoot deployment issues involving rendering, synchronization, and display outputs.


3. Display Synchronization & Visualization Systems

• Configure synchronized playback across multiple displays.

• Implement:

  • Frame synchronization
  • Genlock
  • Timecode synchronization
  • Multi-display synchronization
  • Projection edge blending
  • Display warping

• Support immersive visualization systems including:

  • Simulation platforms
  • Digital twins
  • XR environments
  • Virtual production stages

• Optimize rendering pipelines for smooth playback and consistent visual quality.


4. AV Hardware Integration

• Integrate Unreal Engine visualization systems with professional AV hardware.

• Configure and maintain:

  • HDMI
  • SDI
  • DisplayPort
  • Fiber video transmission
  • AV-over-IP infrastructure

• Configure display processors and routing systems.

• Perform hardware diagnostics and component replacement when required.

• Support installation and commissioning activities at customer locations.


5. Testing, Calibration & Performance Optimization

• Conduct display calibration for:

  • Brightness
  • Color accuracy
  • Geometry correction
  • Image alignment

• Perform performance testing under production workloads.

• Optimize GPU utilization and rendering performance.

• Monitor display quality and ensure reliable long-duration operation.

• Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).


6. Troubleshooting & System Reliability

• Diagnose and resolve issues related to:

  • Display synchronization
  • Unreal Engine deployments
  • Media server operation
  • AV hardware failures
  • Signal routing
  • Display latency

• Maintain high system availability through preventive maintenance and rapid fault resolution.

• Support field troubleshooting and remote diagnostics.


7. Documentation & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Prepare and maintain:

  • System architecture documentation
  • AV wiring diagrams
  • Installation procedures
  • Deployment guides
  • Technical reports

• Collaborate closely with:

  • Unreal Engine Developers
  • Graphics Engineers
  • Software Development Teams
  • Electronics Engineers
  • Mechanical Design Teams
  • Product Management
  • QA & Validation Teams

• Participate in design reviews, system integration, validation, and customer demonstrations.


Qualifications and Experience:

• B.E./B.Tech in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Multimedia Engineering, Audio Visual Engineering, Information Technology, or related disciplines.

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in professional AV system deployment or immersive visualization projects.

• Experience working with Unreal Engine-based visualization environments is preferred.

• Hands-on experience with professional display technologies and AV infrastructure.

• Familiarity with Blackmagic Design, Datapath, Barco, Christie, Panasonic, or Epson professional AV products.

• Understanding of networking for large-scale AV deployments.

• Experience supporting customer installations globally.

• Knowledge of Linux-based rendering environments.
