About The Role

This role sits at the centre of the Attribution Programme and operates as the business-facing coordination and governance layer of the Attribution Function.

GUS currently operates a First Touch Salesforce-based attribution model with multiple signal improvement projects in flight (GCLID, Call Tracking, Identity Resolution, GA4/GTM hygiene, server-side tracking) .

While technical delivery is distributed across teams, business requirements, documentation, stakeholder alignment and governance remain fragmented.

This Role Will

  • Gather structured attribution requirements from Marketing, Sales, Finance and Leadership
  • Translate commercial needs into clear documentation for Tech/Data teams
  • Coordinate attribution-related projects from the business side
  • Maintain project visibility and risk tracking
  • Support the Attribution Lead in pilot preparation and delivery
  • Own operational governance (UTMs, schema integrity, change control)

It is a hybrid Business Analyst / PMO / Governance / Operations role.

Responsibilities

Business Requirements Gathering

  • Conduct structured interviews with Performance Marketing, Brand Marketing, Admissions / Sales and Finance
  • Document:
  • Decision types attribution must support,
  • Known blind spots and
  • Scenario coverage gaps (e.g. cross-device, calls, portal redirects)
  • Maintain consolidated attribution requirements document
  • Ensure requirements are prioritised by commercial impact

Attribution Project Coordination (Business Side)

  • Maintain central project tracker (Asana / equivalent)
  • Clarify ownership and escalation paths
  • Identify blockers and cross-team dependencies
  • Ensure updates are communicated to stakeholders
  • Coordinate pilot readiness (Phase 3.5–4)

Documentation & Change Control

  • Maintain central attribution documentation repository
  • Ensure documentation exists for current model logic, data flows, field logic, UTM taxonomy, lead source schema
  • Create structured change control process for proposed change, business rationale, impact assessment, stakeholder sign-off and release communication

Governance & Data Integrity

  • Own UTM governance adherence
  • Monitor Lead Source overwriting and schema drift
  • Run monthly hygiene audits for lead source = “Other”, blank UTMs, CEM inconsistencies, Power BI vs salesforce discrepancies
  • Escalate structural issues to Attribution Lead

Pilot Support & Attribution Lead Assistance

  • Prepare pilot documentation packs
  • Coordinate data access requests
  • Consolidate stakeholder feedback
  • Prepare executive-ready briefing documents
  • Maintain risk register
  • Support confidence band articulation

Executive & Stakeholder Communication

  • Provide structured weekly updates
  • Translate technical delivery status into business impact
  • Clarify what attribution can and cannot answer
  • Support preparation of board-level materials

Experience & Skills

Qualification

  • Degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics or related field
  • Business Analysis certification (preferred)

Business Analysis / PMO

  • 5+ years in Business Analyst, PMO, Marketing Ops or CRM Operations role
  • Experience running cross-functional programmes
  • Comfortable working in matrix environments

CRM & Marketing Systems

  • Familiarity with Salesforce logic and fields
  • Understanding of UTMs, GA4, GTM
  • Experience working alongside Data/Engineering teams

Stakeholder Management

  • Experience managing multiple senior stakeholders
  • Strong documentation and facilitation capability
  • Structured, diplomatic communicator
