Check Point is looking for an Atlassian Platform Team Lead

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of Atlassian Platform Specialists, providing technical guidance, prioritization, and professional development.
  • Own the strategy, roadmap, governance, and continuous improvement of Jira Service Management and Jira Software.
  • Design and oversee complex projects, workflows, screens, custom fields, permissions, SLAs, request types, forms, and service portals.
  • Drive platform standardization, best practices, and scalable solutions across multiple business functions.
  • Partner with stakeholders across Check Point departments to understand business needs, define requirements, and deliver impactful solutions aligned with organizational goals.
  • Oversee platform performance, upgrades, integrations, security, and reliability while ensuring scalability and operational excellence.
  • Manage and prioritize the team's workload, balancing operational support, strategic initiatives, and continuous improvement projects.

Qualifications

  • B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience administering and designing Jira Service Management environments in a global company.
  • 2+ years of experience leading teams, technical projects, or enterprise platform initiatives.
  • Deep expertise in Jira Service Management, Jira Software, workflows, permissions, automations, dashboards, and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, ScriptRunner, SQL, and platform integrations.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a strategic and customer-focused mindset.
  • Good knowledge of emerging technologies, including AI trends and their potential impact on service management and IT operations.
  • Experience with Atlassian Cloud environments and participation in migration projects from Data Center to Cloud – a significant advantage.
