Atlassian Engineer

Ciklum is looking for an Atlassian Engineer to join our team full-time in India.

About the role:

As an Atlassian Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow.

Responsibilities:

• Administer, configure, and maintain Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence to support business and project needs
• Design and maintain complex workflows, permission schemes, screen schemes, and custom fields
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using ScriptRunner and/or PowerScript
• Configure and support advanced project management tools and reporting solutions
• Build, optimize, and maintain dashboards and reports using JQL and marketplace apps
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable Jira/Confluence solutions
• Maintain system performance, reliability, and integrity across environments, including troubleshooting and issue resolution
• Document configurations, scripts, integrations, and architectural decisions

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience administering Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management, Bitbucket, Opsgenie)
• Advanced knowledge of Atlassian product configuration and administration
• Strong experience with ScriptRunner or PowerScript for automation and customization
• Experience configuring integrations with CI/CD systems, GitHub/GitLab, or other third-party platforms
• Understanding of software delivery processes (Scrum, Kanban, SDLC, DevOps)
• Strong JQL and Jira reporting expertise
• Ability to work independently, communicate clearly, and collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience working in Agile and/or ITSM environments
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users

Desirable:

• Experience with Insight / Assets (CMDB), JEC, Rovo, or Atlassian Forge
• Familiarity with REST APIs and system integrations
• Knowledge of SSO and LDAP / Active Directory user management
• Experience with Atlassian system migrations, optimization, or performance tuning
