Job Summary
The Assistant Manager – HR will be responsible for managing end-to-end HR operations, employee welfare, statutory compliance, administration, and IATF 16949-related HR processes within an automotive manufacturing environment. The role requires strong leadership, compliance management, and employee engagement capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct employee induction and orientation programs
- Maintain records of new joiners and resignations
- Manage daily attendance data and HR documentation
- Handle employee grievances and workplace concerns
- Provide feedback to management to improve work culture
IATF 16949 Compliance & HR Systems
- Ensure HR processes comply with IATF 16949 guidelines
- Maintain employee training records and documentation
- Support audits and compliance reviews
- Maintain HR databases and documentation systems
Employee Welfare & Engagement
- Oversee employee welfare initiatives
- Manage canteen activities and food availability
- Coordinate staff bus arrangements
- Ensure health & safety measures are implemented
Administration & Facility Management
- Coordinate maintenance of office and factory facilities
- Oversee housekeeping and 5S activities
- Manage security and visitor management systems
- Support waste management and plant discipline systems
Legal & Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with Labor Laws, Employment Laws, Compensation Act
- Liaise with statutory and regulatory authorities
- Maintain proper documentation for legal audits and inspections
Candidate Requirements
- Experience in IATF 16949 certified automotive manufacturing company
- Strong knowledge of HR operations & statutory compliance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Own transportation (Company transport not provided)
Mandatory Conditions
- Willing to work in Sanand, Ahmedabad
- Must have own bike or car
- Candidates must have experience in Automobile company
