Associate Technical Lead - Java Developer (Azure & Tokenization)

Job Description

Requirements: Education: Bachelor?s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience: 8-12 years in Java development, with 3+ years of experience mentoring or coaching individual contributors. Technical Expertise: Java (Spring Boot, Hibernate), microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases. Cloud & DevOps: Experience with Azure, CI/CD pipelines, and version control (Git, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker). Agile & Collaboration: Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, team leadership, and cross-functional collaboration. Problem-Solving & Security: Proven ability to design and deploy secure applications in a regulated environment. Preferred Qualifications: Payment Tokenization and MDES: Proven experience with payments tokenization systems and a deep understanding of the Mastercard Digital Enablement Service (MDES), including its APIs and integration patterns. Secure Credential Provisioning: Expertise in secure credential provisioning, token management, and compliance with industry standards like EMVCo and PCI DSS. Azure Cloud Expertise: Proficient in using Azure services like Azure Functions, Azure Key Vault, and Azure App Service to build scalable and resilient payment processing applications. A strong grasp of cloud security principles and best practices for handling sensitive data is essential. DevOps & Automation: Hands-on experience with Jenkins, Kubernetes, and cloudbased CI/CD pipelines. Full-Stack Exposure: Familiarity with front-end frameworks like React or Angular. Big Data & Messaging Systems: Knowledge of Kafka, Hadoop, and distributed data processing tools.
