Associate Technical Lead - DevOps

Job Description

Description Key Responsibilities : AWS Infrastructure Management : Manage and optimize Linux-based AWS environments (EC2, VPCs, RDS, S3, etc.) ensuring scalability, performance, and security. CI/CD Automation : Design, configure, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to automate build, test, and deployment workflows. Code Quality & Artifact Management : Configure and maintain SonarQube for static code analysis and Nexus Repository Manager for artifact storage and version control. Containerization & Orchestration : Develop and optimize Docker images; manage Kubernetes clusters on AWS (EKS) using Helm; configure Istio service mesh. Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : Write and maintain Terraform modules for AWS provisioning, ensuring modular, reusable, and cost-efficient infrastructure. DevSecOps Practices : Implement security automation in pipelines and enforce security best practices across AWS infrastructure. Monitoring & Observability : Configure Datadog for proactive monitoring, dashboards, and alerting of AWS resources and applications. Automation & Scripting : Develop Bash and Python scripts to automate operational tasks and cloud workflows. Cost Optimization : Lead AWS cost optimization initiatives including right-sizing, auto-scaling, and usage monitoring. Network Security : Configure and manage Zscaler for secure network access and traffic filtering. Collaboration : Partner with development, security, and operations teams to deliver secure, scalable, and highly reliable systems. Required Skills & Qualifications Strong expertise in Linux administration and system performance tuning Hands-on experience with Terraform for AWS Advanced Docker skills (multi-stage builds, optimization, lifecycle management) Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar) Deep understanding of AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, etc.) Experience with Kubernetes (EKS), Helm, and Istio Solid understanding of DevSecOps principles Experience with SonarQube, Nexus, and Datadog Proficiency in Bash and Python scripting Strong understanding of AWS cost management strategies Familiarity with Zscaler for secure network access (ref:hirist.tech)
