Description Essential: MCA, B.Tech or B.E (four year college degree) or equivalent 5-8 years of experience in IBM Mainframe, DB2\ IMS, COBOL, JCL, VSAM, TSO/ISPF Working experience in IBM File Manager, Debug Tool, CA7/11, Endevor Understanding of complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) L2/L3 Production Support experience ? Abend fix, Batch Cycle Monitoring, Coordination with mainframe Ops, On-call Support Worked on mainframe development and enhancement projects Willing to work on 24x7 project including night shift. Flexible to work on weekends & holidays. Desirable: Working knowledge of CICS, MQ Series, REXX Familiar with Agile Methodology Key position details (Responsibilities) Ability to think logically/analytically, understand business need. Strong research skills, Strong problem resolution skills Adheres to department practices, standards, policies, procedures, and methodologies. Applies technical knowledge and skills necessary to complete and document moderately complex tasks. Understands the application/area as it relates to assigned projects/tasks. Willingly accepts additional responsibility
