Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the launch of valuation engagements by organizing and reviewing client documents.
  • Inventory, review, and maintain financial statements, tax returns, bank statements, and other supporting documentation.
  • Extract and spread historical financial information into Excel-based valuation templates and models.
  • Perform financial statement analysis to identify trends, key financial metrics, and areas requiring further investigation.
  • Assist in preparing normalization adjustments under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Conduct industry research, identify guideline public companies, and analyse precedent transactions.
  • Support the development and refinement of valuation models while gaining exposure to end-to-end valuation methodologies.
  • Assist in drafting valuation reports by preparing financial analysis, industry research, and supporting narratives.
  • Maintain organized project files and ensure documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Work on multiple valuation assignments simultaneously while meeting project deadlines.
  • Communicate effectively with managers and team members, including collaborating across different time zones.
  • Continuously develop technical knowledge of valuation methodologies, financial modelling, and business analysis with the goal of independently handling valuation assignments over time.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • CA, CFA (Level I/II), MBA (Finance), or candidates pursuing these qualifications are preferred.
  • 2-3 years of experience in Business Valuation, Financial Analysis, Accounting, Audit, or Corporate Finance.
  • Basic understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
