Job Description Role Overview: We are seeking a seasoned Data Architect and Project Manager to lead enterprise-scale data platform initiatives on Azure. The role combines architectural design, governance, and delivery leadership across Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, and ADF environments. Key Responsibilities: Define the enterprise data architecture strategy using Fabric, Databricks, and Azure core services. Lead multi-phase implementation across ingestion, transformation, and analytics. Oversee Lakehouse design, semantic modeling, and gold layer development. Manage project planning, Agile delivery, and stakeholder communications. Implement DevOps automation, monitoring, and governance frameworks. Mentor data engineers, enforce standards, and ensure cost efficiency. Integrate security, compliance, and data governance practices. Skills & Qualifications: 14+ years in data architecture, engineering, or analytics delivery. Expertise in Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, ADF, ADLS, and Power BI. Strong experience in Azure DevOps, Agile methodologies, and cloud cost optimization. Experience managing multi-cloud or hybrid architectures. Optional: Familiarity with GCP (BigQuery, Dataflow, Looker, Pub/Sub) for hybrid integration. Preferred Certifications: Databricks Certified Data Engineer Professional or Databricks Certified Data Architect Associate Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate (DP-600) Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) Optional:Google Cloud Certified ?
