We are happy to inform you that K L University has an immediate opening for Teaching Faculty in the Multidisciplinary Innovation & Entrepreneurship (MDI&E) & Biotechnology K L Deemed to be University was established in 1980-81 as K L College of Engineering, which was upgraded to K L College of Engineering Autonomous in 2006 by the UGC and was declared a Deemed to be University in 2009 by the UGC, MHRD, Government of India. In 2012, as a Deemed to be University. Position: Assistant / Associate Professor Location: K L University Campus, Vaddeswaram, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh Department: Multidisciplinary Innovation & Entrepreneurship (MDI&E) & Biotechnology Multidisciplinary Innovation & Entrepreneurship (MDI&E) Qualifications: Master?s degree in engineering / design / management / Innovation Desirable: Ph.D. in Innovation / Entrepreneurship / Design / Liberal Arts. Certifications: Preferred IDEO / Stanford. school / NID / IIMs / Wadhwani Foundation Skills & Competencies Design Thinking, Lean Startup, BMC, MVP, Customer Validation Prototyping: 3D Printing, PCB, Arduino, Figma, etc. Workshop facilitation, project-based mentoring, and strong communication skills Adaptability to new technologies and teaching methodologies Leadership and teamwork for academic and research collaboration Key Responsibilities: Design and deliver engaging courses on Design Thinking, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship . Conduct research in innovation management, creative problem-solving, and design processes. Guide students in research projects, internships, and industry collaborations. Mentor students in innovation projects, prototype development, and startup initiatives. Build partnerships with startups, incubators, accelerators, and corporate innovation labs. Contribute to setting up innovation labs, maker spaces, and interdisciplinary programs. Stay updated with emerging tools, technologies, and global innovation trends. Experience Requirements: Minimum 2 years of teaching or industry experience in Innovation or Startups Research experience and publications are preferred. Biotechnology Qualifications: B.Tech in Biotechnology & M.Tech in Biotechnology & Ph.D. in Biotechnology (Compulsory) Experience Minimum 2 years of teaching or research experience in a reputed academic or industrial R&D institution. Proven research output with publications, patents, or industry collaborations preferred.
