As an Associate- Payroll Accounting, you will focus on managing financial records, analyzing data, and assisting in compliance with accounting standards. You will play a crucial role in providing accurate financial information and insights to support decision-making. As an Associate, you will be driven by curiosity and contribute to projects while developing your skills and knowledge to deliver quality work. You will engage in research, participate in project tasks, and develop basic skills and knowledge to support senior staff and deliver value.
In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will be part of our Finance practice, providing financial advice and strategic guidance to clients, helping them optimize their financial performance and make informed business decisions. You will handle financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management. Responsibilities
- Assisting in the preparation and analysis of financial statements to support decision-making
- Managing financial records and confirming compliance with accounting standards
- Engaging in financial budgeting and forecasting activities to optimize financial performance
- Conducting financial statement analysis to provide insights and recommendations
- Supporting the reconciliation of accounts and maintenance of the general ledger
- Collaborating with team members to address financial reporting and accounting challenges
- Applying accounting policies and practices to maintain accurate financial records
- Participating in the preparation and presentation of financial reports to stakeholders
- Gathering and analyzing data from various sources to identify patterns and trends
- Adapting to diverse client needs and contributing to team success in a fast-paced environment
- At least a High School Diploma or the equivalent degree
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
- Preference for a Bachelor's degree in at least one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Accounting & Finance, Accounting & Technology, Management Information Systems
- At least one of the following: Certified Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
- Demonstrating proficiency in financial accounting and reporting standards
- Utilizing skills in general ledger accounting and maintenance
- Engaging in financial statement preparation and analysis
- Applying knowledge of financial budgeting and forecasting
- Excelling in stakeholder management and communication skills
