About the role:
As an Associate Director – Technical Pre-Sales at Darwinbox, you will play a mission-critical role in driving strategic enterprise sales success by aligning our product’s technology, architecture, and security capabilities with the strategic needs of our most valued clients. From deeply understanding a prospect’s IT landscape to building compelling technology narratives, you will be the go-to technical advisor throughout the sales cycle.
This role demands a unique blend of enterprise IT expertise, product knowledge, strategic thinking, and executive communication skills. You’ll work closely with CXOs and IT leaders, advocating for Darwinbox’s HCM suite while ensuring seamless alignment across Product, InfoSec, and Delivery teams.

Additional Roles & Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor to strategic enterprise accounts, articulating the value of Darwinbox’s modern architecture, platform scalability, and security posture.
- Lead technology-focused presentations, product demonstrations, workshops, and deep-dive sessions tailored to customer needs.
- Build strong relationships with client-side IT stakeholders and gain alignment on technical, integration, and security aspects.
- Own and deliver high-quality technical documentation including RFP responses, solution blueprints, network diagrams, and architecture collateral.
- Collaborate with the Product and InfoSec teams to ensure all technical collaterals are aligned with the latest product capabilities and security standards.
- Deeply understand clients’ existing systems and propose scalable, integrated solutions via detailed product workshops.
- Act as the technology bridge between Sales and Implementation—ensuring accurate knowledge transfer and a seamless transition from pre-sales to post-sales.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders (Integrations, DevOps, Product) to maintain an up-to-date library of references and assets.
- 10+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, IT consulting, or solution architecture roles, preferably in enterprise SaaS environments.
- Proven ability to engage and influence C-level stakeholders and business/IT decision-makers in large enterprise settings.
- Strong understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure, integrations, and SaaS security principles.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in a consultative, value-based selling model across complex sales cycles.
- Ability to distill complex technical concepts into clear business narratives.
- MBA/PGDM or equivalent degree in IT Management is preferred.
