GEDU is hiring a Backend Developer to build secure, scalable, and high‑performance backend solutions for our global education platforms. In this role, you will collaborate with cross‑functional Agile teams to design robust APIs, optimize databases, and deliver reliable backend systems. What We Expect from You

Design, develop, customize, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using .NET Core (6 / 7 / 8/9)
Build secure, scalable, and high‑performance backend architectures aligned with business needs
Design and optimize database schemas to support high‑volume read/write operations
Write clean, maintainable, and well‑tested code using xUnit / NUnit
Optimize API performance, application logic, and database queries
Collaborate closely with Product, Architecture, UX, and Agile SCRUM teams
Integrate backend services with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
Troubleshoot application and production issues and support smooth deployments
Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and continuous improvement initiatives

What You Should Bring

1–3 years of hands‑on experience in backend development
Strong expertise in C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET, and ASP.NET Web API
Experience building secure and high‑performance web applications
Solid knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
Strong understanding of OOPS concepts, SOLID principles, design patterns, and n‑tier architecture
Experience with ORM frameworks, API Gateway / API Management
Familiarity with Git / Azure Repos and modern code review practices
Basic understanding of authentication and SSO mechanisms (LDAP / Active Directory)
Exposure to cloud environments such as Azure or AWS
Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, Agile environment
Strong communication skills and eagerness to learn new technologies
