Role Description

This is a full-time Associate Automation Engineer role focused on testing using TypeScript and Playwright. We are looking for a detail-oriented Associate QA Engineer with 1–4 years of experience in manual testing and automation. The candidate will work closely with developers, product teams, and senior QA members to ensure product quality across web applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand requirements and create test cases, test scenarios, and test data
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing
• Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like Jira
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues and ensure timely resolution
• Write and execute basic automation scripts (Playwright / Cypress or similar)
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews)
• Ensure overall test coverage and product quality
• Good Understanding of Javascript/Typescript
• Good Communication skills

Good to Have

• Experience with API testing (Postman or similar)
• Basic understanding of SQL for database validation
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and Git
