Business Function

Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain complex software applications for the Global Financial Markets division using Java, Springboot, and Microservices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Implement and optimize SQL databases, and leverage cloud-based technologies such as OpenShift and Kubernetes
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment
• Provide technical expertise and support to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of the applications
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and contribute to the team's knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software development, with a strong background in Java, Springboot, and Microservices
• Proficient in SQL database design and optimization, and experience with cloud-based technologies such as OpenShift and Kubernetes
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Passion for staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement
