Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Madurai for an Assistant Professor or Associate Professor at Velammal College of Engineering & Technology. The responsibilities include delivering high-quality lectures, guiding students in research projects, preparing course materials, evaluating student performance, and contributing to the academic growth of the institution. Additional duties include participating in curriculum development, engaging in scholarly activities, and mentoring students to achieve their academic and professional aspirations.

Qualifications

• Strong teaching skills in the relevant engineering discipline preferably VLSI Design and Technology and ability to deliver engaging and clear lectures.
• Proficiency in course material preparation, evaluation methodologies, and student performance assessment.
• Research acumen, analytical thinking, and experience guiding student research projects or similar academic work.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to mentor students effectively.
• Commitment to contributing to the academic development of students and the institution.
• Master's or Doctoral degree in the relevant engineering field (Ph.D. preferred for Associate Professor).
• Prior teaching experience at the undergraduate and/or postgraduate level is an added advantage.
