Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Sales Manager role based in Agra. The Assistant Sales Manager will support student recruitment and admissions-focused sales initiatives, including generating and managing leads, counseling prospective learners, and explaining IBS programs and admissions processes. The role involves conducting outreach through phone calls, emails, in-person meetings, and education fairs, as well as building relationships with schools, colleges, coaching centers, and other partners. The individual will track and report on enrollment targets, maintain accurate records in CRM or related systems, and coordinate with marketing and academic teams to align messaging and conversion strategies. The role may also include assisting in organizing information sessions, seminars, and events to promote IBS programs and enhance brand visibility in the region.

Qualifications

  • Strong sales, business development, and client relationship skills, with the ability to meet or exceed admission and enrollment targets.
  • Effective communication, presentation, and counseling abilities to engage with prospective students, families, and institutional partners.
  • Solid organizational, planning, and follow-up skills, including the ability to manage multiple leads and activities simultaneously.
  • Comfort using CRM tools, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), email, and online communication platforms for outreach and reporting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field; a postgraduate degree (MBA or equivalent) is an advantage.
  • Prior experience in education sales, admissions counseling, or service-based sales is highly desirable.
  • Proactive, target-driven mindset with the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Willingness to work on-site in Agra and travel locally for outreach, events, and partner visits as required.
