About the Job Role

This is a full-time, on-site role based at our Kochi campus.

As a Trainer/Assistant Professor, your main job is to help our working students connect what they learn in class with what they do at their jobs. You will teach them modern design tools, guide them through practical projects, and help them get ready for long-term career success.

Your Responsibility:

  • Teach & Guide: Run interesting, practical classes on UI/UX and design technology.
  • Mentor Projects: Help students work through real-world case studies, assignments, and portfolios.
  • Build Curriculum: Create simple, up-to-date learning materials that match what the industry needs today.
  • Track Progress: Check student work, give helpful feedback, and keep regular academic records.
  • Collaborate: Work with our industry partners and fellow faculty members to constantly improve the programme.

Qualifications

  • Strong subject-matter expertise in design technology, including UI/UX, digital product design, or related areas.
  • Proficiency in relevant design tools and technologies (e.g., Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, prototyping tools) and familiarity with current industry practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and deliver structured lessons, projects, and assessments for undergraduate learners.
  • Excellent communication, classroom management, and mentoring skills to support diverse learners.
  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Applications, Design, Computer Science, or a related discipline; teaching or training certifications are an advantage.
  • Prior experience as a faculty member, trainer, or industry professional in design or technology-focused roles, preferably with exposure to work-integrated or experiential learning models.
  • Ability to collaborate with academic and industry stakeholders, adapt content to evolving technologies, and support students in real-world project execution.
  • Commitment to inclusive, gender-neutral, and non-discriminatory teaching practices and to supporting learners from varied socio-economic backgrounds.
