About the Role

Amity University Punjab is inviting applications for the position of Assistant Professor of English. We are seeking passionate academicians with strong subject expertise, research orientation, and commitment to excellence in teaching and student mentorship.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in English Literature, Language, Communication Skills, and related subjects
• Develop engaging lesson plans and academic content
• Mentor and guide students in academic and research activities
• Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives
• Publish research papers in reputed journals and participate in conferences/seminars
• Support university activities, accreditation processes, and academic administration

Eligibility Criteria

• Master’s degree in English with an excellent academic record
• NET/SET qualified or Ph.D. in English as per UGC norms
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Prior teaching/research experience preferred
