Assistant Professor in- Forensic Biology and Serology

Job description

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Deliver lectures, tutorials, and laboratory sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate students in Forensic Science (Forensic Biology and Serology).
• Design and develop curriculum materials for new courses or academic programs in relevant fields.
• Collaborate with faculty members on interdisciplinary projects that combine agronomic principles with areas such as horticulture, forestry, and environmental studies.
• Participate actively in departmental meetings and contribute to the formulation and implementation of academic policies.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Possess a M.Sc or Ph.D. / NET Qualified in Forensic Science from a recognized university.
• Specialization: Forensic Biology and Serology
• 1 to 5 years of teaching experience in an academic or industry setting.
• Strong foundational knowledge of agronomic principles, with the ability to apply this expertise in both teaching and research.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with students, colleagues, and external partners.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Candidates with a Ph.D. will be given preference.
