Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Professor, located in Coimbatore. The Assistant Professor will be responsible for preparing and delivering lectures, designing and updating course materials, evaluating students' academic performance, and providing mentorship. Additional responsibilities include staying updated in their field of expertise, conducting research, publishing scholarly articles, and participating in academic conferences. Collaboration with department colleagues for curriculum development and active engagement in institutional activities will also be part of the role.

Qualifications

• Expertise in subject matter relevant to the position, with a strong academic background
• Teaching and presentation skills with the ability to deliver engaging lectures and guide student learning
• Research and analytical abilities to stay updated in the field, conduct research, and publish findings
• Proficiency in creating, structuring, and evaluating academic or educational content
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to mentor students and collaborate with colleagues
• Commitment to academic excellence and continuous professional development
• Sound understanding and application of educational technologies and platforms is a plus
• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in a relevant field is required
