Role Description This full-time on-site Assistant Professor role, based in Jaipur, involves teaching and research across one or more of the following areas: AI & Machine Learning, Quantum Computing, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Data Analytics, IoT, Blockchain, AR/VR, High-Performance Computing (HPC), Game Development, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), and Computational Mathematics. Responsibilities include designing and delivering lectures, labs, and tutorials; mentoring learners; and supervising projects and dissertations at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The role requires active participation in individual and collaborative research, publishing in reputable journals and conferences, and contributing to funded research proposals. The Assistant Professor will also engage in curriculum development, continuous course improvement, academic advising, and departmental activities such as committees, outreach, and industry collaboration. Supporting accreditation processes, maintaining high academic standards, and fostering an inclusive learning environment are integral to the position.
Qualifications
  • Advanced knowledge and research interest in one or more core domains such as AI & Machine Learning, Data Analytics, Computational Mathematics, or Human-Computer Interaction.
  • Competence in emerging technologies, including Quantum Computing, IoT, Blockchain, AR/VR, HPC, Game Development, and related interdisciplinary areas.
  • Strong foundation in computer science and engineering concepts, including algorithms, software development practices, and systems design.
  • Proven ability to design and deliver engaging courses, develop curricula, and assess learner performance using diverse pedagogical methods.
  • Demonstrated research aptitude with publications in peer-reviewed journals or recognized conferences; experience in securing or participating in funded projects is advantageous.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary academic environment.
  • Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or a closely related field; exceptional candidates with a strong research and teaching profile at the Master’s level may be considered as per university norms.
