Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant PD Merchandiser to support the product development process in the fashion/apparel segment. The candidate will assist in managing daily PD activities, ensuring timely coordination with internal teams and vendors, and maintaining accuracy across all development stages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in end-to-end product development from concept to final approval.
• Coordinate with design, sampling, sourcing, and production teams for smooth execution.
• Support in preparing and updating tech packs, BOMs, and costing sheets.
• Follow up on sample development and ensure timelines are met.
• Assist in sourcing fabrics, trims, and accessories as per requirements.
• Communicate with vendors for updates, sampling status, and basic negotiations.
• Track development timelines and maintain proper documentation.
• Conduct basic market research and competitor analysis.
• Help prepare line sheets, presentations, and product documentation.
• Ensure data accuracy and support in maintaining records for PD activities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Apparel Merchandising, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in PD Merchandising (Fashion/Apparel industry).
• Basic knowledge of fabrics, trims, and garment construction.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
