Job Description

Role Overview

We are looking for a high-impact Channel Partner (Marketplaces) professional to drive growth across leading online marketplaces. This role sits at the intersection of business growth, platform relationships, analytics, and execution. You will own marketplace performance end-to-end—strategy, listings, campaigns, visibility, and revenue—while building strong partnerships with platform teams. Key Responsibilities

Marketplace Growth & Revenue

  • Own and grow business performance across key marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, Blinkit, Swiggy Instamart, etc.).
  • Drive GMV, revenue, contribution margin, and category rankings through structured growth plans.
  • Identify new marketplace opportunities and expansion levers.

Channel Partner Management

  • Build and manage strong relationships with marketplace account managers and category teams.
  • Negotiate commercial terms, visibility plans, and platform-led growth initiatives.
  • Ensure alignment between internal goals and marketplace priorities.

Listings, Visibility & Content

  • Ensure high-quality, optimized product listings including titles, descriptions, images, A+ content, and compliance.
  • Improve discoverability through keyword strategy, category mapping, and platform tools.
  • Monitor and fix listing issues, suppression, or compliance risks proactively

Campaigns, Promotions & Media

  • Plan and execute promotions, deals, and seasonal campaigns.
  • Manage marketplace ads, visibility spends, and ROI tracking.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams for launches and brand-building initiatives.

Analytics & Performance Tracking

  • Track daily/weekly/monthly KPIs including sales, conversion, ROAS, inventory health, and customer metrics.
  • Prepare performance reports with actionable insights for leadership.
  • Use data to recommend pricing, promotions, and assortment decisions.

Inventory & Operations Coordination

  • Work closely with supply chain and operations teams to ensure optimal inventory levels.
  • Forecast demand and prevent stock-outs or excess inventory during peak events.
  • Ensure smooth execution of order fulfillment and platform SLAs.

What We’re Looking For

  • 4+ years of experience in managing online marketplaces / e-commerce channel partnerships.
  • Hands-on experience with platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, BigBasket, Blinkit, Swiggy Instamart, etc.
  • FMCG, D2C, consumer brands, or high-growth startup experience preferred.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of marketplace mechanics, algorithms, and commercial models.
  • Data-driven mindset with comfort in Excel, dashboards, and performance analytics.
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to balance strategy with on-ground execution.
  • Ownership mindset—treats the channel like a business.
