Assistant Manager - Supply Chain

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated Supply Chain Management Trainee to support our growing supply chain function. This is an excellent opportunity for early-career professionals (0–2 years of experience) with an MBA and a passion for operations to launch their career in aerospace supply chain management within a dynamic startup environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in end-to-end supply chain processes, including procurement, supplier onboarding, and vendor performance tracking.
  

• Support supplier relationship management with both domestic and international partners.
  

• Help monitor material planning, inventory levels, and logistics coordination to ensure timely delivery of components and materials.
  

• Participate in data analysis and reporting to optimise cost, quality, and lead time.
  

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, quality, operations) to ensure alignment of supply chain strategy with production goals.
  

• Support implementation of process improvements, lean principles, and digital tools to increase supply chain efficiency.
  

• Assist in developing supply chain documentation such as purchase orders, supplier scorecards, and risk assessments.
  
  

Location: Hyderabad, India (On-site)

Qualifications:

• MBA (Mandatory) — preferably with a specialisation in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, or related fields.
  

• 0–2 years of relevant experience in supply chain, procurement, or operations.
  

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
  

• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment.
