Why This Role Matters

India’s D2C ecosystem is scaling rapidly, and post-purchase infrastructure is becoming business-critical. This role will directly influence revenue growth by building strong merchant relationships, unlocking new logos, and positioning Return Prime as a core operating layer for returns and post-purchase workflows. The impact is measurable—quota ownership, predictable pipeline, and long-term brand partnerships.

What You’ll Own

New Customer Acquisition

  • Drive new business across Shopify D2C brands in India
  • Engage founders, CXOs, D2C heads, ecommerce and operations leaders
  • Identify gaps in returns and post-purchase workflows

Consultative Selling

  • Run structured discovery calls and tailored product demos
  • Conduct solution workshops aligned with merchant operations
  • Navigate multi-stakeholder buying cycles

Outbound & Pipeline Ownership

  • Own outbound motions — calling, LinkedIn outreach, email sequencing, ecosystem networking
  • Drive sales quota with strong forecasting discipline
  • Manage pipeline end-to-end from prospecting to closure

Ecosystem & Partnerships

  • Collaborate with agencies, aggregators, and ecosystem players
  • Unlock new opportunities through strategic partnerships
  • Position Return Prime clearly against competing solutions

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with product and customer success for smooth onboarding
  • Share market feedback to strengthen positioning and roadmap
  • Track Indian D2C, logistics, and Shopify ecosystem trends

Who You Are

  • 3–5 years of experience in sales, outbound, or business development within Shopify Apps/Plugins, D2C SaaS, eCommerce, logistics tech, or the Shopify ecosystem
  • Experience selling to founders and senior stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of Shopify workflows (apps, integrations, merchant operations)
  • Familiarity with returns management or post-purchase operations is a strong advantage
  • Working knowledge of OMS/WMS/logistics tools such as Unicommerce, Vinculum, Increff, Shiprocket, etc.
  • Understanding of D2C metrics (CAC, LTV, RTO, return rates, fulfillment SLAs)
  • Basic understanding of APIs, webhooks, Shopify Admin, theme integrations, and data flows
  • Ability to translate technical capabilities into clear business value
