Job Description

Responsibilities

Performing maintenance and repairs on utility infrastructure, including fixing leaks, replacing components, and troubleshooting problems.
Conducting regular inspections of utility systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.) to identify potential issues and ensure proper functioning.
Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with safety protocols and regulatory standards
Maintaining records of maintenance activities, repairs, and any issues encountered.
Coordinating with other departments, such as facilities management and operations, to schedule repairs and minimize disruptions.

Additional Responsibilities

Record Keeping: Maintaining detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities.
Inventory Management: Keeping track of tools, equipment, and spare parts.
Training and Development: Staying updated on the latest technologies and industry best practices.
Emergency Response: Responding to emergency situations related to utility systems.
Working with Contractors: Collaborating with external contractors for specialized repairs or maintenance.

Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering along with utility maintenance expertise in the manufacturing environment
Excellent interpersonal/communication skills are required for fostering teamwork, enhancing a good working environment, and effectively developing strong working relationships with a diverse group of people.
