Role Description The Assistant Manager – Project Management is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This position supports end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of pharmaceutical and commercial projects across Medsurge Global’s markets. Responsibilities include assisting in project scoping, defining timelines and deliverables, tracking milestones, and maintaining project documentation and reports. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams such as regulatory, supply chain, quality, finance, and sales to ensure alignment and timely completion of project activities. The Assistant Manager will monitor budgets and resource allocation, identify risks and dependencies, escalate issues when required, and contribute to process improvements and best practices in project and program management.


Responsibilities:

·      Develop, establish, and maintain project management standards and procedures

·      Work with the management team, and project business sponsors, to provide a comprehensive overview of project operations for each initiative

·      Work collaboratively on project requests, processes, and procedures, through to project completion

·      Perform project scheduling, resource planning, – as well as effective use of metrics, and reporting

·      Track and report project statuses on a timely basis to relevant stakeholders

·      Work with all levels of management to ensure project initiatives are managed and maintained; develop executive level presentations of the portfolio

·      Ensure that initiatives are being well managed and adhering to appropriate standards and good practice

·      Recalibrate the portfolio as necessary when the demands of the business dictate a change in delivery or scope of work.


Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Project Management and Program Management skills to coordinate multiple initiatives and deliverables.
  • Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills and Budgeting capabilities to interpret data, forecast needs, and manage project costs.
  • Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to work with cross-functional teams and present clear updates to stakeholders.
  • Relevant experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or life sciences project coordination or management is beneficial.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, science, engineering, or a related field; a project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and MS Office, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
