Job Title: Assistant Manager – Management Information Systems (MIS)

Position Overview
The Assistant Manager – MIS will lead advanced MIS reporting, data management, and analytics to generate actionable insights that support organizational planning and decision-making. The role requires strong analytical capability, hands-on expertise in data tools, and the ability to work closely with program and functional teams to strengthen data quality, reporting systems, and governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain MIS dashboards and automated reports using Excel, Power BI, and SQL.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery of all MIS reports across programs and functions.
- Analyse complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform strategic and operational decisions.
- Generate predictive and diagnostic insights to support business planning and performance improvement.
- Coordinate with program and functional teams to collect data and enhance reporting structures aligned with organizational goals.
- Strengthen data governance practices, including data validation, cleaning, reconciliation, and compliance with SOPs.
- Support continuous improvement of MIS systems, tools, and reporting workflows.
Technical & Functional Skills
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, advanced formulas, Power Query, dashboards).
- Strong experience with Power BI or equivalent data visualization tools.
- Working knowledge of SQL Server and database querying.
- Familiarity with ETL processes, Power Query, and data integration workflows.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets and Google Forms.
- Strong command of English (reading, writing, speaking) and working knowledge of Hindi (speaking).
Qualifications & Experience
- Postgraduate degree in IT, Computer Science, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Technical certifications in MS Office, SQL, Power BI, or related tools are preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in MIS, data analysis, reporting, or analytics roles, preferably in a lead or managerial capacity.

- Exposure to predictive analytics and statistical tools is an advantage.
