Required experienced professional with deep expertise in enterprise-grade Zabbix setup, configuration, and operations. The resource will be responsible for designing, implementing, automating, and managing Zabbix monitoring solutions across large-scale hybrid , On Prem and cloud infrastructures. The candidate should be able to independently handle end-to-end setup, operational excellence, and new monitoring projects, ensuring observability and proactive issue management across enterprise environments.

JD :-

Design, architect, and deploy enterprise-grade Zabbix monitoring platforms across multi-environment infrastructures (On-Prem & Cloud).
Zabbix infrastructure setup including server, proxies, agents, database, and HA configurations.
Define and implement monitoring templates, triggers, discovery rules, and alerting policies for diverse infrastructure components.
Manage day-to-day operational activities – performance tuning, database optimization, backup, version upgrade, and capacity planning.
Drive automation and self-healing mechanisms for infrastructure monitoring using scripts, APIs, and integrations.
Implement cloud infrastructure monitoring (AWS, Azure, GCP) through Zabbix agents, APIs, or hybrid connectors.
Integrate Zabbix with external tools like Grafana, Prometheus, ServiceNow, Ansible, AIOPS for unified observability and automation.
Develop custom dashboards, reports, and SLA tracking for various business and operational teams.
Provide SME-level support for new projects, onboarding new systems and technologies into Zabbix.
Evaluate, recommend, and enhance the existing monitoring ecosystem by adopting best practices and emerging technologies.
Ensure documentation, governance, and compliance with organizational standards.

Technical Skills Required

Primary Expertise:

Enterprise Zabbix Server Administration & Architecture
Zabbix Proxies, Agents, Templates, Triggers, and Event Correlation
HA and DR setup for Zabbix environment
Scripting & Automation: Python, Shell, or PowerShell
API Integration with Zabbix for automation and dashboarding

Additional Monitoring Tools

Working knowledge of Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic Stack, Nagios, SolarWinds,OP Manager or similar tools.
Experience integrating Zabbix with Grafana for visualization and analytics.

Cloud Monitoring

Monitoring cloud-native resources in AWS, Azure, or GCP using Zabbix (via API, CloudWatch, or Azure Monitor integration).
Familiar with hybrid and multi-cloud monitoring architectures.

Infrastructure Exposure

Strong understanding of Linux/Unix administration, networking concepts (SNMP, ICMP, TCP/IP).
Knowledge of databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) used as Zabbix backends.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
8–12 years of overall IT experience with 5+ years in enterprise monitoring roles.
Hands-on experience with Zabbix enterprise-scale deployments is mandatory.
Zabbix Certified Specialist/Professional preferred.
Cloud certification (AWS/Azure) is a plus.
