Role Description – Assistant Manager (GST Litigation)

This is a full-time on-site Assistant Manager – GST Litigation role located in Ahmedabad. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for handling GST litigation matters including drafting replies to notices, managing departmental proceedings, and representing clients before GST authorities.

The role involves analysis of complex GST issues, preparation of legal submissions, handling assessments, audits, investigations, and appellate matters, and providing strategic litigation support to clients. The candidate will also coordinate with clients for documentation, assist in preparing case strategies, and support representation before adjudicating authorities and appellate forums.

The position requires strong analytical abilities, deep understanding of GST law and procedures, and the ability to manage multiple litigation assignments while ensuring timely and effective resolution of matters.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting standards, and compliance regulations
Proficiency in GST advisory, direct tax compliance, and corporate structuring
Excellent organizational and project management skills to oversee operations and team deliverables
Effective leadership, communication, and team management abilities
Analytical skills to support business advisory and strategic decision-making
Proficiency in common accounting software and digital tools
Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification or equivalent is preferred
3-5 years of relevant experience in the financial or professional services sector
Additional certifications in management, taxation, or business strategy are a plus
